COVID-19 Policy
**UPDATED September 15, 2023
As I am sure you are aware, the incidence of Covid is on the rise again. We will do all we can to make sure that Gymfinity stays a safe and healthy place for your kids.
If your child displays symptoms of illness, we strongly advise using an at-home COVID-19 test before allowing them to attend school. Should your child test positive for COVID-19, please keep them at home and us know.
Our protocols adhere to the guidelines set forth by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention regarding positive COVID-19 test results and potential exposure situations. In a nutshell, for children who test positive, a 5-day isolation period is required from the onset of symptoms, with the first full day after symptom onset considered as Day 1. If symptoms improve and the child remains fever-free for 24 hours without fever-reducing medications, they may return to Gymfinity on Day 6 with a mask. Subsequently, they must wear a mask at Gymfinity for additional time until they have reached 10 days without symptoms. Note; a negative test is not required for returning to Gymfinity.
In cases of exposure to a COVID-19-positive individual, your child should wear a mask around others and at Gymfinity for a period of 10 days starting from the first full day after their exposure. Immediate COVID-19 testing is advised if symptoms develop, with adherence to isolation guidance if the test results are positive.
