Follow the team to Regionals
This team of girls is made up of gymnasts that have never qualified to the Regional Chamnpionship before. Brianna Slonim, Kendra Neuhauser, Yuki Matsushima, Lexi Alt and Kaisey Skibba are Level 8 gymnasts that competed at the Wisconsin State Championship and will now represent Wisconsin in a 7 state regional championship. You can follow the girls training on Twitter (Gymfinity) or see more on our Facebook Group Page (The Real Gymfinity). Wish these girls luck as they continue to train in the post season.
Top 5 State Meet highlights:
1. Brianna on Floor doing a stellar routine and captivating the crowd with her performance.
2. After a plagueing injury resurfaced just before her floor routine, Kendra restructured her tumbling passes and convinced the judges that this was the same great routine that they expected. It was.
3. Yuki throws her first Yurchenko vault in competition. Rocks it. Judges smile, Mom cries, Coaches dance with pride…Yuki, nods and rocks the second one too.
4. The look on Lexi’s face when she sticks the double back dismount off bars as she turns and salutes the judges, you’ll never see a more deserving smile.
5. Kaisey nails her beam routine. A hurricane could have blown through the auditorium and she was not going to wobble on that beam.
