Gymfinity’s TnT team travelled to Des Moines Iowa last week to compete in the USTA National Championship. The kids packed up and carpooled together for the meet along with coach Scott Nilles, and found the trip was well worth it.
Gymfinity’s kids made an impressive showing at the meet. Though the entire team did not compete, 3 representatives did. For Gymfinity we had team veteran and former team star of the month, Steven Queoff, Danny “Whiskers” Keyes and Kirsten Queoff. The event started with a preliminary round and finished the next day with the “Finals”.
Steven Queoff: Placed 5th on Trampoline, 2nd Place on Tumbling and is the National Champion on Double Mini-Trampoline. Great Job Steven!
“Whiskers” Keyes Placed 2nd on the Double Mini-Trampoline, andis the National Champion on both Tumbling and Trampoline. Whiskers you are Awesome!
Kirsten Queoff Placed 9th on Trampoline, 8th on Double Mini-Tramp and took an impressive 5th place on Tumbling. Way to go Kirsten!
Lastly: Thanks to Coach Scott Nillesfor doing an fantastic job this season with the team. Scott stepped up from the assistant position to take the team this year. We have seen great growth and the kids have re-dedicated themselves to reaching their goals. It’s great to see them do so well, they deserve it.” said Coach Scott. TnT’s former head coach Ty Clark will be returning to Gymfinity to serve in an advisory and special clinician capacity. “We will see the team really soar now” said Nilles.
Gymfinity’s TnT team is recruiting new members and invitations have been sent out to several kids, asking them to join this amazing team. Watch for more information on the team program and look for the National Championsto defend their crowns next season.
