Gymfinity’s goal is to W.I.N. every meet and workout.

I recently found this written in a gymnastics blog and I wanted to reference it here because it parallels Gymfinity’s  philosophy: I have paraphrased it in this post. Gymfinity’s goal and what we expect from our gymnasts in each meet is to W.I.N.  By that we mean; W.I.N. as an acronym that stands for “What’s Important…

“Make it or Break it” 99% wrong.

Recently, ABC Family television network added a show called “Make it or Break It“. It chronicles the soap opera lives of a team of gymnasts, their morally challenged coach and their bizarre and obsessive parents. There have only been 2 episodes to air (the third is tonight) but as you would expect, I have a few…

Gymfinity’s Flip Camp is a HUGE hit!

Just wait until you have kids….

I’ve been in the “working with kids” business since 1980; coaching, teaching, supervising etc. I have worked side by side with parents and with people who don’t have children too.  If I had a dollar for everytime I heard “just wait until you have kids…” I’d be pretty wealthy. I always thought how those who…
